Authorization Acquiring Application Admin – Freelance Project in Prague (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a technically skilled team player who understands the world of payments and wants to be part of a key migration project — moving a core Authorization System from legacy to modern technologies. You'll join a small, dedicated team responsible for the very heart of the acquiring process.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and developing the Payment Authorization system (Acquiring side)
• Participating in the migration to a new tech stack and connecting existing customers
• Light development in PERL, system configuration, and operational support
• Analysis, monitoring, testing, and certification with card schemes
• Close cooperation with other teams – including global communication
• Occasional OnCall support (24/7 rotation after proper onboarding)

🎯 Who we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles within the Payment/Card industry
• Knowledge of authorizations, cryptography, banking/payment systems, e-commerce
• Comfortable with SQL, Linux, and have a strong analytical mindset
• A proactive, curious team player with a business-oriented approach
• Able to communicate effectively across teams and support clients when needed

💼 What we offer:

• Long-term freelance opportunity (contract-based)
• Hybrid setup – 2 days onsite in Prague, the rest remote
• Daily rate around 8,000–10,000 CZK/MD depending on experience
