Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Secure Access Cloud and Proxy Services team in Prague. Your primary responsibility will be to provide daily operational support focused on maintaining and improving network security services deployed in the cloud, such as firewalls, web proxies, load balancing, and DNS.

What will you do?

• Provide 2nd level support for cloud-based network security services, including firewalls, web proxies, load balancing, and DNS.
• Resolve incidents and problems while collaborating with external vendors to ensure services operate at the required levels.
• Manage changes in the network security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with change management processes and proper documentation.
• Ensure that all implemented solutions adhere to agreed-upon standards.

What do we require?

• At least 2 years of experience in telecommunications/networking and/or network security (Firewalls, TCP/IP, IPSec VPN, HTTP(S), DNS, etc.).
• Knowledge of public cloud networking principles (Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud) or Cloud Proxy solutions.
• Strong understanding of at least one of the following network security technologies: Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, IPSec VPN, or Web Proxy.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under time and workload pressure.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Nice to have skills:

• Scripting experience.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Automation skills.
