Senior Software Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tester to join our client's team in Prague. Your mission will be to enhance the messaging infrastructure of a leading financial platform. As part of this role, you’ll become an essential contributor to the project lifecycle, focusing on improving system quality and performance.

By joining the team, you’ll help ensure smooth integration between components and take responsibility for end-to-end testing scenarios, all while collaborating with various development teams to maintain high standards of functionality and reliability.

Your Key Responsibilities

• 🧩 Test integration between application components with a focus on end-to-end scenarios
• 🔍 Analyze functional requirements and contribute to review and improvement sessions
• ⚙️ Conduct smoke and regression testing prior to the acceptance test phase
• 🤝 Collaborate with multiple development teams to drive quality assurance initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• ✔️ Expertise in test preparation, execution, and reporting
• 💻 Proficiency in test environment management (Linux, bash)
• ☁️ Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, Podman, OpenShift)
• 🐍 Familiarity with testing and test automation tools (Python, Java)
• 🌍 Excellent investigative skills and a strong command of English (written and spoken)

Desirable Skills

• 📈 Understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and trading mechanisms
• 🔧 Experience with Ansible, Terraform; familiarity with Jira, Git, Jenkins
• 🎓 A university degree in Information Technology or Engineering is a plus
